LG V20 – the first smartphone Android 7.0 Nougat officially presented

Over the last month the information is often discussed in the network that the LG V20 is a modular first smartphone Android 7.0 Nougat with a very strong specification. A few hours ago the manufacturer officially presented the device. Whether the rumors are true?

LG V20 is equipped with a 5.7-inch screen Quantum Display, working with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is protected by glass Gorilla Glass fourth generation. The manufacturer decided to apply here also a second, a smaller display, which should show the notification system, information about the time or the weather. It works with a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels and 50% brighter than that from V10.

Assumptions about the device modularity have not been confirmed, the manufacturer has not decided on a modular design. It should be noted, however, that the V20 is equipped with a removable battery capacity of 3200 mAh with fast charging. This is not surprising because the smartphone from LG has long been possible to change the batteries.

Specifications LG V20 is really strong. Here you can find the chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4 GB DDR4 RAM, 64 GB of user data, which can be expanded using microSD memory cards with a maximum capacity of 2 TB. LG has established in V20 camera with 16-megapixel lens and f / 1.8 and LED flash, and a front camera of 8 MP lens and f / 2.4. Furthermore, the device has a USB type C.

LG V20 is running the latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat features. It must, however, be borne in mind that the system further comprises an overlay LG UX 5.0+, which is not significantly different from the previous version, but we find here save mode RAM and new tools for recording audio. The system itself offers, among others, and the ability to function MultiWindow any scale change elements on the screen.

The V20 model is particularly noteworthy sound quality. The manufacturer has applied here 32-bit digital-to-analog converter Hi-Fi Quad DAC (ESS SABRE ES9218), which should provide an excellent, clear sound and up to 50% lower noise than the competition. Audiophiles will be pleased with the fact that the headphones supplied with the LG V20 provide the company Bang & Olufsen.

The new first smartphone Android 7.0 Nougat review from LG offers users support for LTE cat. 12 3CA, Bluetooth 4.2, wi-fi, NFC, and A-GPS. Components were closed in a metal case with a fingerprint reader. The phone is available in silver, pink and titanium colors.

Smartphone sales will begin next month. First, it can get buyers from South Korea, later the device should go to other markets.
