For the next season 2017 the Italian shoe company is preparing to expand its Scarpa trekking line, but rather a series of Marmolada shoes, new hiking boots Marmolada Pro OD, which are designed mainly for long trips (backpacking, climbing, via ferrata) in the conditions of the mountains. The basis of the new model includes the already known model and Marmolada Trek Triolet GTX.
The upper part of a new shoe is made by combining natural suede thick to 1.8 mm thick with a ballistic nylon, aramid material L-TECH Fabric, which forms the tongue-valve and a wide rubber rand. All exterior materials are further treated with water-repellent composition Nikwax. To create a comfortable, vapor-permeable and waterproof lining material used thermostatic 37.5 Cocona and OutDry membrane. The insole is made of a layer of fabric potootvodyaschey, flexible foams and supporting glass fiber layer.
The sole new mountain boots Marmolada Pro OD has a multicomponent structure, similar to the latest versions of Triolet GTX and Charmoz OD. The structure includes a flexible nylon soles instep, heel stabilizer termopoliuretanovy intermediate cushion layer of polyurethane foam and EVA double density, as well as a layer of wear-resistant Vibram soles with a well-known tenacious protector Mulaz S.
Mountain hiking shoes Scarpa Marmolada Pro OD will go on sale in the spring of 2017, the average size of a pair of weight is not more than approximately 1.4 kg, the recommended price announced at $ 280.
