Garmin has announced a new model of sports wearable lineup Fenix. This is a smart class “lux” watches, which are called Fenix Chronos. Housing material and the strap, you can choose different – from titanium to stainless steel. There is another option – a bracelet made of Italian leather.
As a software platform used by the company’s own software, it’s not Android Wear. However, the device can show notifications on your smartphone, including incoming calls. They also feature a range of fitness functions.
Fenix Chronos can track heart rate, steps, and set the height loss, calories burned, etc. Hours are monitoring user activity in various sports, including running, biking, swimming, skiing, and even golf.
Garmin Fenix Chronos Clock Smart received a three-axis electronic compass, barometer, altimeter, GPS and GLONASS-modules. Thus, you can work with the device in offline mode without a phone. Hours of smart hours – up to 13 hours with the use of GPS and up to 25 hours without GPS.
The housing is protected against water, the watch can be submerged to a depth of up to 100 meters. The dial is covered with sapphire crystal. Display Size – 1.2 inches, resolutions Display resolution – 218 x 218 pixels.
