  2. Scroll down to the “About phone”.
  3. Press the “build number” about 7 times until you see a message that the options for developers are activated.
  4. Go back and see the Developer options menu appears at the bottom of the Settings page.
  5. Tap on it and scroll down until you see the USB debugging. Click on it and then click ‘okay’.
If you have a device that runs on Android 2.3 or earlier version, here are the steps in which to proceed:
  1. Open the settings.
  2. Click on “Applications” (or “Apps” or “App Manager”).Scroll down until you find “Developer options”.
  3. Click on it and activate the “USB debugging”.
  4. Now you will be able to install custom ROM on your Android device or even use your smartphone remotely if you broke the display.
