Xperia XZ is equipped with the 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and it is based on the flagship chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, working in conjunction with 3 GB of RAM.

Also referred to the 32-gigabyte drive, a MicroSD support up to 200 GB of capacity, port USB Type-C (for the first time for Sony smartphones), a fingerprint reader and a battery at 2900 mAh. The latter supports the fast charging QuickCharge 3.0, but it is not clear whether the corresponding unit will enter the power supplied. The model uses a Snapdragon chipset 650 – is not the most efficient solution, while the previous “compacts” from Sony could boast just flagship hardware platforms.
